The merging of Glynwed Pipe Systems with the Belgian Group Etex creates a strong global Leader in piping system for utilities and industrial applications. The Etex Group Plastics Sector, with the contribution of Glynwed Pipe Systems, employs 15,400 people, has 83 production sites for a total of 1200 moulds and has a turnover of over 2 billion Euros: around 50% of the entire Group.

The constant growth of Etex Group Plastics Sector lead to its natural separation from the Group and the birth of a new independent reality: the Aliaxis Group. A business collecting over 100 brands spread in 37 countries, one of the world leader in pressure piping systems.
